The Martins would always host Sunday afternoon tea dances at this residence after their standing court time each Sunday at famous the Racquet Club nearby. The white piano, which is still present in the great room, was a gift for Dean Martin in the mid 1960s specifically for entertaining. Because of this standing Sunday afternoon entertainment by Dean, the home became known as The Tea Dance House to the locals and visiting celebrities. Dean's Big Band music and the sound of the piano were heard during many seasons.

The 3,000 sq ft home was recently renovated with designer furnishings in mid-century classic styles with notables such as Warren Platner, Mies Van der Rohe, and Milo Baughman. The post and beam construction is updated for living today with the sleekness of polished concrete floors along with the original white terrazzo floors in the great room.
