Things To Do
The Hawaii Kai Golf Course features the Executive Course known for its sloping, undulating greens that will challenge your chipping and putting abilities. The Executive Course follows the base of the Makapuu cliffs with exceptional coastline views, and keep an eye out for humpback whales passing by offshore!

Also at the Hawaii Kai Golf Course is the Championship Course which boasts the state's largest fairways and many deep bunkers as well as spacious greens. This Championship Course is also known for its scenic ocean views, and for its sometimes blustery winds that can become a factor in your strategy.

For great snorkeling head over to nearby Hanauma Bay where the gradually sloping beach is nice for novice snorkelers who are sure to see a wide variety of interesting marine life. Head to Waikiki for a surfing or stand up paddle boarding lesson, or take a ride in an outrigger canoe. If you like historical sites make sure to visit the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.

Eat and Shop
The Hawaii Kai Towne Center has many places to shop and dine as well as frequent entertainment on the waterfront stage. Upscale Hawaiian cuisine can be found at Roy's Restaurant with great ocean views and a menu that emphasizes local seafood and produce. You can enjoy American fare at the Outback Steakhouse, and there is also a shopping center in the community of Kalama Valley in Hawaii Kai.

For a diverse assortment of great restaurants as well as live music head over to Waikiki where you can dine overlooking the iconic shoreline. More great dining as well as shopping can be found in downtown Honolulu including some unique ethnic restaurants in Chinatown.
