Kaunaoa 10B is located on an end lot with excellent golf course views and the most privacy of the town homes. It is the largest town home floor plan with over 4,000 square feet of combined indoor/outdoor living space. The home overlooks the 13th hole of the Mauna Kea Golf Course with views of the Pacific Ocean & sunsets from the second level lanai. Fully retractable pocket doors open the main living space to the outdoor covered lanai for authentic island living. The kitchen is equipped with Viking appliances, a large built-in outdoor grill, wet bar and everything you'll need to prepare a gourmet meal. In the backyard there is a private pool (unheated) and waterfall hot tub surrounded by a grassy yard. There are 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in the Halia floor plan, including two master suites. The downstairs master suite opens to the pool lanai and includes a private outdoor shower as well as an indoor shower and jetted soaking tub. The upstairs master bedroom boasts ocean and sunset views with a large sunning deck, en suite bathroom and walk-in closet. The third bedroom (downstairs) has a queen bed and private bathroom. The fourth bedroom (upstairs) has two twin beds, a walk-in closet and a private bathroom. Flat screen televisions are provided in the living room and all bedrooms as well as free WIFI access throughout. There is an additional half bathroom (powder room) located near the kitchen and complete laundry facilities. Kaunaoa is a premier Mauna Kea Resort community with unsurpassed amenities. Kauna'oa is in a prime location within a short drive to the two best beaches on the Big Island, Hapuna and Mauna Kea (Kaunaoa) beaches. The crowning jewel of your time at Kauna'oa will be the inclusion in the private Country Club. The facilities include a large infinity pool (non-chlorinated), hot tub, a clubhouse kitchen and BBQ, a complete fitness center and a spa-like locker room with sauna and steam room options. Unique to the Kauna'oa community, guests will also have access to the private Weiskopf Par 3 golf course that will challenge the serious golfer, but is also intimate and enjoyable for a leisurely family game. Guest also have the option to purchase membership privileges to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay. The cost is $125/day (subject to change) and must be purchased directly through Mauna Kea Residential Guest Services at least 2 weeks PRIOR to your arrival. Our Reservations Department will provide you with the registration form (when you make a reservation) and it will be your responsibility to complete & return this form back to Mauna Kea Residential Guests Services. Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort facilities: Charging privileges at all hotel facilities, access to hotel beach and pools, towels, use of lounge chairs/umbrellas, reduced golf rates at golf courses, reduced rates at the Mauna Kea Seaside Tennis Club, use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotels. Our check-in office is located at the Mauna Lani Terrace & is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm. We are available for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of a property-related emergency.
