The Modern Castle on the Middle River exceeded all of my expectations. It was much like visiting a palace, except you could use and touch everything in it! Every convenience was made available! Unllike a hotel, this is a home with every item you could possibly imagine or need in multiple quantities. Almost every sort of entertainment is available, including a hot tub, a room-sized shower with mulitple shower heads, a baby grand player piano, a library filled with entertaining books, a dream kitchen, multiple floors of artwork, a heated pool, electronic gadgets and a sound system throughout the entire house that had unparalleled quality. The service was also great. When we had difficulty connecting to the wireless internet, someone was dispatched to the house the next morning to help us (there was no problem with the system itself). You could spend weeks inside this house simply discovering new things to look at or do. In my 60 years, this is probably the best vacation experience I have ever had.

Enjoy your privacy: in one of seven bedrooms each with full, private baths. Master bedroom has king bed with 10 x 10 walk in shower/steam/tub room. Three bedrooms with king beds, two with queen bed, one with queen and twin bed, one with three twin beds.

I loved the ammenities provided, such as ice, paper towels, comfortable linens, pleanty of towels. The estate was gorgeous and had fabulous art collections everywhere. The concreted floors were very dirty and left our feet black if we went barefoot and one of the drawers in the freezer was partially broken when we arrived and broke off completely when we went to use it. The landlords were delightful and helpful! We had a great time and appreciated the back up generator during the storm when the power went out for half a day. The TV in the master bedroom never worked? The elevator was a life saver for my elderly parents and sister with a broken knee! It was really a lovely rental unit and we would love to go again!

The home is thoroughly cleaned between occupants. There are many outside areas that connect to the first floor inside area including the garage, green house, pool area, and parking area. Perhaps the guests traversed these areas. We do try to take care of any concern immediately and I personally am accessible by cell phone 24 hours a day. The remote in the master just needed to be reprogrammed we were not made aware of this until our check out inspection.
